There will be another FMB World Tour Gold stop in Winterberg in 2024. This means that the Slopestyle contest will once again be one of the highest competitions in the world. And this time the starting field will be even bigger. Find out why here.

2024 wird es erneut einen FMB World Tour Gold Stopp in Winterberg geben. Damit gehört der Slopestyle Contest wieder zu einem der höchsten Wettbewerbe der Welt. Und diesmal wird das Starterfeld noch krasser. Warum erfahrt ihr hier.

The course, which was built especially for the Red Bull Bergline, was getting a bit long in the tooth, so it was rebuilt before the festival. But as is the case with Slopestyle, such a course is subject to a certain dynamic and so the excavator will have to do some work again in one place or another for 2024. The first reconstruction measures will now be completed in the autumn, so that only the finishing touches will have to be added in the spring.

Der Kurs der damals extra für die Red Bull Bergline gebaut wurde, war etwas in die Jahre gekommen und somit wurde er vor dem Festival wieder hergerichtet. Aber wie das beim Slopestyle so ist, ein solcher Kurs unterliegt einer gewissen Dynamik und somit wird auch für 2024 wieder an der einen oder anderen Stelle der Bagger etwas Arbeit verrichten müssen. Die ersten Umbaumaßnahmen werden nun schon im Herbst vollzogen, so dass im Frühjahr dann nur noch der Feinschliff folgen muss.

The reason for this is that last year's Crankworx festival in Cairns took place at the same time as the contest in Winterberg, meaning that some big names from the scene decided to make the trip to Australia. As a collision could be avoided this time, the crème de la crème will probably be fighting for the prestigious victory in Winterberg. So if you weren't already planning to come to the iXS Dirt Masters, you should now make a note of the date in your diary and look forward to four awesome days in the Hochsauerland.

Der Contest wird definitiv auch 2024 wieder das absolute Highlight des größten Gravity Festivals Europas. Den über 5000 erwarteten Zuschauerinnen und Zuschauern wird wohl eine noch krassere Action geboten, denn das Starterfeld wird noch mal um einiges hochkarätiger. Grund hierfür ist, dass im letzten Jahr gleichzeitig zum Contest in Winterberg das Crankworx-Festival in Cairns stattfand und somit einige große Namen der Szene sich für die Reise nach Australien entschieden haben. Da diesmal eine Kollision vermieden werden konnte, wird wohl die Creme de la Creme um den prestigeträchtigen Sieg in Winterberg kämpfen. Also wer es nicht sowieso schon vorhatte zum iXS Dirt Masters zu kommen, der sollte sich das Datum nun fest im Kalender anstreichen und sich auf vier krasse Tage im Hochsauerland freuen.
