last update January 19, 2024
§ 1 Participation
Invited athletes have to use the FMB registration system.
Riders under the age of 18 require a declaration of consent by their parents or other legal guardians. They have to deliver the signed form at the rider registration.
The transfer/delivery of a starting slot to third parties is always prohibited.
§ 2 Invitation / wildcard
The top 25 riders in the current FMB World Ranking (6 weeks before the event) are invited to compete. In the event of cancellation by individual invitees, those following in the ranking list will move up and also receive an invitation.
§ 3 Registration fee
There is no registration fee.
§ 4 Starting order
The starting order of the qualification corresponds to the reverse order of the FMB World Tour ranking. Wildcard athletes start first. The starting order of the final corresponds to the reverse order of the qualification results.
§ 5 Contest runs
For each competition round (qualification, and finals), every rider has two runs. The best run counts. The organiser reserves the right to hold the qualification as a jam.
The starting order for the second run will be the reversed result from run one.
§ 6 Finals
The top 15 riders qualify for the final round.
§ 7 Judging
The judges rate the jumps by difficulty, airtime, and style. A jump will be considered a failure if the rider crashes.
§ 8 Safety gear
The following safety gear is required for every rider:
- knee pads
- full-face helmet
full-face helmets must be certified to the following standards:
- MTB Downhill helmet certified to EN1078 and ASTM F1952
- Motocross helmet certified to ECE 22-05 „P“, „NP“, „J“ or SNELL M 2010 or SNELL M 2015
Helmet straps must be closed on course. Additional protection is highly recommended.
§ 9 Technical condition of bikes, equipment and clothing
Every rider is responsible for the bike, the material and the protection equipment. The condition, quality and construction are to ensure the safety of riders, competitors or other persons. The equipment/safety gear must be marked with the seal of approval of an international inspecting authority.
Headphones and earplugs are not allowed during the contest.
§ 10 Awards ceremony
The awards ceremony will take place after the event in the slopestyle area.
§ 11 Prize money
Prize money will only be paid out if a regularly judged contest (at least one final run) has been held. If the qualifying result is taken as the final result, only one third of the prize money will be paid out.

All riders are responsible for insurance coverage concerning damages based on their participation in the race.
The German law applies to all legal technicalities.
§ 13 Waiver of liability
By submitting the entry form, the participants waive any right of action or recourse against the organizer, its representatives, sports officials and helpers, authorities, property owners and any other persons connected with the organization of the event for any accidents or damages suffered in connection with the event.
This agreement becomes effective with the submission of the registration to the organizer. Beyond that, no claims will arise, especially against Racement GmbH, Bikepark Winterberg, Sports Nut GmbH and other partners.
The organizer reserves the right to make any changes required by force majeure, for safety reasons or ordered by authorities, or to cancel the event if this is due to extraordinary circumstances, without assuming any liability for damages.

§ 14 Withdrawal
The organizers hold the right to withdraw starters if they feel there is a danger to the starter or any other person.
The event doctor can advise the organisers that, due to medical reasons, a rider should be withdrawn from the event. If the race organiser follow the recommendation, the rider will have their number board removed and will be withdrawn from the event.
If the race organisers believe a rider is not capable of competing, they reserve the right to withdraw the rider from the event on grounds of their safety and that of the other riders and spectators.
