PROPAIN Rookies Cup
This international downhill series has been running since 2007 and some of the big names on the scene have earned their first spurs here. Winterberg is this year's kick-off of a total of 6 races. 200 athletes aged nine and over are expected to take part.

VPACE Kids Cup
The Kids Cup is a racing series for the very young. Kids from the age of five take on an easy downhill course and show that they are sometimes better on two wheels than many of the spectators. Due to the great demand in recent years, there will be two races, although participation will only be possible in one of the two.

Bunny Hop Contest
The first pop-up competition will once again attract many spectators, as the challenge is to see who can jump the highest. The high jump bar will be set up in the centre of the expo area and the riders, who will no doubt include some of the slopestyle stars, will try to jump over it without it falling down.

Holy Bowly Contest
A new trick event that has been buzzing around in the DMF organisers' heads for some time. The old bowl in the slopestyle area will be brought back to life and equipped with an inrun tower. 26 inches, airtime and cool moves will be the ingredients for this entertaining contest. Be right up close and turn the venue into a witches' cauldron.

Braap Off
This contest, which can hardly be described as a competition, has a long history as a highlight of the festival. It's really just about amusing the audience by roasting a berm with as much drift as possible. Action is guaranteed in any case.

Bike Mailorder Best Trick Contest
In 2024, the festival area was expanded by integrating the freestyle area behind the Infopoint. And of course a contest was also held there, as an air bag is perfect for big air action. And because it was such a success, it's back again this year.

TSG Rip the Hip
Last year, this format was presented to the public for the first time as a supporting programme for the FMB Gold Slopestyle Contest and generated a lot of enthusiasm. The riders have to perform predetermined tricks or combos and whoever does it best gets their prize money straight away.

ORBEA Wild Ride
The iXS Dirt Masters Festival also features e-bikes, but not the kind of bike lane with unfit people, but rather full-throttle action on the trail. Last year, it was the premiere of the German Mountain Bike E-Enduro Championships.

PUK-OFFs
This competition is not to be taken entirely seriously. On bikes that are far too small, the riders take to the pump track course and battle it out for the fastest time. Professionals against amateurs, kids against seniors, everyone against everyone, or all against each other, in any case, all with a lot of fun.

VPACE Rookies Jam
The Rookies Jam will be held in Winterberg for the third time, starting with a coaching session and offering the next generation of slopestyle riders the big stage after an instructive time. At the end, the up-and-coming protagonists compete and present their best tricks and most stylish whips in a contest.

Schanzenwerk Progression Session Best Trick
After the rookies have already heated things up, the more advanced slopestyle riders now take to the course and provide plenty of airtime and cool trick combos in a best trick contest. This competition is the finale of the progression session, in which the participants push each other to raise the level.

iXS Downhill Cup
The race series, which has existed for over twenty years, is an annual guest in Winterberg and has already brought many of the biggest stars to Winterberg. It will be interesting to see who will join the list of winners and make the most of the festival stage. The course may be short, but it still has a lot to offer. It's worth watching, because it offers gravity action of the fastest kind.

Specialized Chili Enduro Series
The Chili Enduro Series is coming to Winterberg for the first time and is setting up its own village. In addition to the usual competition on the special stages in the bike park and trail park, there will also be the traditional get-together with workshops and hanging out together in the start/finish area.

Slomo Race
The Slomo Race in the Expo Brand World is almost the finale of the festival. The challenge is to complete a course particularly slowly without putting your foot down. Pushing around, riding in circles or holding on is not allowed, otherwise you'll get a Red Bull shower.

As you can see, it's important to make a good plan so not to miss out on the festival. Please bear in mind that it can take quite a long time to walk from one venue to the next. You will find countless opportunities to stop at any of the stands of the more than 100 brands in the Expo along the way. There are many offers by the exhibitors, from signing sessions and product launches to competitions and opportunities to test the latest products. And if you still have energy left in the evening, you can let the day fade away at the After Race Music Night.
