FAQ

Do I have to pay an admission fee to visit the iXS Dirt Masters Festival?

No. As always, admission to the festival is free of charge: Access to the Expo area, the races of the iXS Downhill Cup, the 4X ProTour, the VPACE Kids Cup, the Schwalbe Uphill Flash epowered by Bosch and the Enduro race is possible without control.

However, since 2021, due to the Corona measures, it is necessary to buy a ticket for the slopestyle area in advance.

If you want to participate in a race or contest, you have to pay a participation fee. You can find more information under the menu item "ATHLETE INFO".

I have ordered and paid for tickets, but unfortunately the ticket has not arrived yet. What's going on?

In this case, please check your spam folder first!

When can I buy tickets?

Tickets for the slopestyle area are available from March 31, 2022 on!

Where can I buy tickets?

As soon as ticket sales start, you will find an item in the menu under "FESTIVAL".

What do I need tickets for?

To get access to the slopestyle area and to participate in the Rose Best of 10, TSG Whip Off (final contest and qualification) and slopestyle (PRO + amateur) events as a spectator.

Which days do I need tickets for?

Thursday, Friday and Saturday. On Sunday the access to the slopestyle area is free of charge, unless the contest has to be postponed from Saturday to Sunday (in that case the tickets from Saturday keep their validity).

I want to ride on the slopestyle area. Do I need a ticket for that?

Yes, you do (except on Sunday).

Do I have to be vaccinated, recovered (from a covid infection) or tested in order to attend the event?

The Corona protection regulation of the state of NRW valid for the timeframe when the festival is happening applies. If it says that you have to be in one of the above mentioned states at an event of our size, then the answer is: Yes. If not, then no.

Please keep yourself updated, as we all know the rules and regulations can change quite quickly in the current times.

Where can I get tested?

There are several testing locations in Winterberg. However, we recommend that you take a test in your hometown before you hit the road to Winterberg, as there may be longer waiting times at the test sites in Winterberg. Also, we recommend using a test center in town on subsequent days before coming to the bike park. For example, this one:

Teststelle: Am Kurpark 6 (Oversum)
59955 Winterberg
Tel.: 02981 9250996

If necessary, if the Corona Protection Ordinance makes it necessary, a test tent will be set up at the festival site.

Do I basically need a declaration of consent of my parents if I am underage and am I allowed to participate in a contest with it?

YES!

A permission of your parents is indispensable if you are under 18 years old. You can download the here and have it filled out and signed by your parents: Erziehungsbeauftragung_DM_2022.pdf

Where can I park my car?

Parking is available in the large parking lot directly across from the festival grounds for a fee.

All cars have to leave the parking lot in the evening. If the parking lot is full, a Park & Ride system will be set up. This will be signposted at the access roads. The parking lot is located opposite the festival entrance and is signposted accordingly. It is open Thursday and Sunday from 8 am to 10 pm and Friday and Saturday from 8 am to 11 pm. The parking lot will be cleared accordingly after opening time and in case of non-observance, towing will be charged there. It is also not possible to set up camping vehicles or tents here. You will find further parking spaces at our P&R parking lot in Remmerswiese/Lamfert. Parking on all parking lots costs 5 Euro for a single day. One-day parking tickets are not available in advance, but only on site.
