Day 3 - Big Air Bangers at the FMB Gold Event
Where do you start, where do you stop? This is the question fans of the Dirt Masters Festival ask themselves every year. There is so much to discover, so much to test, to marvel at and of course to celebrate. And all that for 4 days! With the countless highlights, of course you don't want to miss anything. So Saturday again offered a lot of action with some unforgettable moments.

iXS Downhill Cup Seeding Run
When the starting order for the race on Sunday was determined, the track was already glowing today. With 500 starters, that's no wonder. Everyone wanted to give everything to have a good starting position for tomorrow. The weather today was not as sunny as the last days and also the temperature was rather uncomfortably cool due to the wind. Nevertheless, the newly built track was dry and quite grippy.
The fastest times today were set by Oisin O Callaghan (IRL - YT MOB) and Nina Hoffmann (GER - Santa Cruz Syndicate) in the elite classes. Surprisingly, Evan Medcalf (USA - Evolve Racing) from the Pro U19 Male category set the fastest time of the day. The times were very close. On tomorrow's race day we can certainly expect an extremely exciting race. The weather currently looks very good for Sunday, there should be a pleasant 20 degrees and sunshine. So stay tuned.

BMO 4X Rumble
This spectacular race also goes by the name of Fourcross. Four riders compete against each other at the same time. What was exciting about it? Just about everything! The riders left the start gate side by side and at the same time. On the 450 meter long track they could overtake each other at any time and drove wheel to wheel. The fights on the track were of course celebrated by the spectators with a lot of noise.
At the end of the day, Gustaw Dadela (POL - Cst Orbea Mtb Team) and Josie Mcfall (GBR - Kona Bikes/Sorted Racegear) were able to extend their elbows the furthest and thus took the much-coveted victory in the elite classes in the BMO 4X Rumble aka Fourcross.

Golden Slopestyle Bangers
Who was not here has really missed something! The top stars of the slopestyle scene were able to captivate the fans again this year in the sold-out finals. More than 20 pro riders were able to show their best tricks one after the other. Unfortunately there was no qualification because the wind was pretty nasty in the early afternoon. Therefore the superfinal was held in the evening with all invited and qualified riders.
Always present was the legend Sam Pilgrim. He gave everything again this year on his new bike. In addition, of course, there were also German riders at the start. Unfortunately, the local hero Erik Fedko could not participate in the slopestyle this year due to an injury. But Marc Diekmann and Tobey Miley could show the crowd what's going on in German slopestyle.

After a really gnarly contest Anton Linder from Sweden became the king of slopestyle in Winterberg. Behind him, Tobey Miley (GER - Rose Bikes) took second place and Chance Moore (CAN - SRAM) third.
After the slopestyle, the party continued into the night at the aftershow party with Tomas Lemoine. The party-loving community really went wild again. But hopefully not everyone partied the night away, because on the last day of the festival, the final of the iXS Downhill Cup is still to come. The power of the fans will be needed once again... and of course the riders should also be fit!
